Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GoopForge website and application (the “Service”) operated by GoopForge LLC (“GoopForge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service — including by signing in with Twitch — you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

GoopForge is an AI-assisted decision engine for Twitch streamers. The Service helps you:

  • Build and manage a weekly streaming plan (categories, times, titles, and related suggestions)
  • Receive recommendations informed by your preferences, channel context, optional Steam library data, and aggregated market signals
  • Lock in plan choices and optionally sync schedule segments to Twitch (when you authorize the required Twitch scopes)
  • Track certain channel and live-stream metrics (for example, follower counts, archived VOD averages, and live concurrent viewer samples for registered users) to improve plan relevance

GoopForge is not an analytics dashboard, ad network, or guaranteed growth service. Outputs are suggestions to support your decisions, not professional advice.

The Service is offered as an MVP / early-access product. Features, models, and availability may change.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live and meet Twitch's eligibility requirements for the accounts you connect.
  • You sign in using Twitch OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Twitch account and for all activity that occurs under your GoopForge session.
  • You may optionally link a Steamaccount. Steam linking is voluntary and subject to Steam's terms.
  • You agree to provide accurate preference and profile information to the extent you choose to enter it.

One person may not maintain multiple accounts to abuse the Service or circumvent limits.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Violate Twitch's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Developer Agreement when using Twitch-connected features
  • Violate Steam's Subscriber Agreement or related policies when using Steam-linked features
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law
  • Upload or transmit malware, spam, or harmful code through feedback or other inputs
  • Misrepresent AI-generated suggestions as human-reviewed guarantees, official Twitch/Steam endorsements, or factual performance promises
  • Use automated means to access the Service except through documented APIs we explicitly provide
  • Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate access (Section 11).

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms and providers. Your use of those integrations is also governed by the third party's terms and privacy policies.

5.1 Twitch

Core sign-in and many features require a Twitch account. By using the Service, you authorize GoopForge to access Twitch data and perform actions within the OAuth scopes you grant (for example, reading email and follower counts, managing your schedule when you choose Push to Twitch, and receiving EventSub notifications for stream online/offline).

5.2 Steam

Optional Steam linking uses Steam OpenID. If you link Steam, you authorize us to retrieve your owned-games list server-side to filter planner categories. We do not store Steam passwords or OAuth tokens.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation. “Steam” is a trademark of Valve Corporation.

5.3 Other providers

The Service may use additional providers (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and optional AI text generation). See our Privacy Policy for how data is shared with subprocessors.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

Parts of the Service use automated and AI-assisted generation, including stream hooks, title suggestions, rationale text, and category recommendations. When configured, text generation may use third-party language model providers.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, repetitive, or unsuitable for your channel or audience
  • Recommendations reflect models, heuristics, and cached signals — not live human review of your channel
  • GoopForge does not guarantee audience growth, revenue, discoverability, or Twitch/Steam compliance outcomes
  • You are solely responsible for what you stream, your titles, your schedule, and compliance with platform rules
  • Certain inputs (such as category IDs and names) may be sent to AI providers; we do not send your email, display name, OAuth tokens, or optional stream description to those models in the current product version (see Privacy Policy)
  • Labels in the product (for example, “AI-generated” vs “Curated”) indicate the source of specific copy where shown

Always review suggestions before publishing or syncing to Twitch.

7. MVP / early access; disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
  • Features labeled stub, beta, preview, or MVP may be incomplete or change without notice
  • Paid tiers, if introduced later, will be subject to updated terms published before general availability

You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Intellectual property

  • GoopForge owns the Service, including software, branding, and documentation, except for third-party materials and your content
  • Your content — including preferences, plan choices, and feedback you submit — remains yours. You grant GoopForge a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display your content as needed to operate and improve the Service (including anonymized/aggregated learning from recommendation events)
  • Twitch, Steam, game names, and category art are owned by their respective rights holders
  • You may not use GoopForge trademarks without permission

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GoopForge LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your streaming content or conduct on Twitch, Steam, or other platforms
  • Your violation of these Terms or third-party terms
  • Content or information you submit through the Service

10. Feedback

If you submit feedback through the Service, you grant us permission to use it to improve the product without obligation to you. Do not submit confidential or proprietary information you cannot share.

11. Suspension and termination

11.1 By you

You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account from Settings → General.

11.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

11.3 Effect

Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and indemnification) survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (for example, in the app). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service.

13. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and GoopForge regarding the Service
  • Severability: If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect
  • No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale
